Halloween-Inspired Makeup Lookbook For A Spooky Night

Halloween is just around the corner and if you haven’t decided on what character you’ll be and how you’ll pull that look off; don’t worry, you aren’t alone. We’ve searched the entire internet to gather here a few of the most coveted makeup and costume ideas for you. Take out your makeup bag and mirror for a fun makeover or head over to your makeup artist to emulate these makeup looks that are sure to spook out your friends this Halloween!

The Joker Look
This year, Hollywood witnessed Joaquin Phoenix’s take on the Batman comics nemesis—Joker. With the immense popularity of the movie and Phoenix’s awe-inspiring performance, this is one look that is going to take center-stage this Halloween. You can pull this look off by applying a white foundation and setting it with a setting spray. Add colors to make the diamond-shaped eyes, the red brows and an over-stretched smile that asks, “Why so serious?”

Pennywise With An Artsy Twis

Speaking of creepy, let’s not forget about the clown who terrorized the town of Derry, Maine. Your pennywise makeup look will be the talk of the town with the dainty eyebrows and a smile that extends to them. However, if you want to bless the look with a feminine touch, opt for glittery red lips and false lashes.

A Nightmare On Halloween Ft. Freddy Krueger
Since we’re recreating some of Hollywood’s creepiest, it would be unfair to not include Freddy Krueger. This makeup look is a tad bit difficult to pull off; however, you don’t need to be perfect. Accentuate the eyes and lashes with plenty of blacks, copper and greys, wear your hair down for the female take on our beloved Freddy and top it all off with a hat.

A Riverdale Extravaganza—Cheryl Blossom Style
With Season 4 of Riverdale in full swing and fans waiting for its Halloween episode, what could be better than sporting an outfit this Halloween that looks like it came straight out of the halls of Riverdale High? And when it comes to fashion’s best, we know you’ve been drooling over Cheryl Blossom’s chic looks.

Don a black vintage dress, a red cape and boots with matching gloves and if you can find a spider brooch, perfect! Complete the look with lose curls, cat eye and a bold red lip that is bound to make heads turn.

Straight Out of the Heavens—Fairy Makeup Look
This look is for the ultra-feminine girl who doesn’t like the blood and gore that Hollywood has introduced this year. To pull this look off, apply pastel hues, such as pinks, purples, violets and highlights in the inner corner of your eyes. Add a white eyeliner and mascara and a flower or two and you might as well be sprinkling pixie dust all over town this Halloween!

The Webby Woman Look For The Minimalists
If you’re our minimalist girl, we have the perfect look for you that’ll take just an eyeliner to complete. Do your face and eyes as routine and make spider webs around your eyes with an eyeliner starting with five vertical lines at the top and bottom of each eye and connecting them with half circles to make them look like webs.
